Hi
The post is a little small but from what I can see it looks good.

Hi mpaul73. Did you click on the picture? It opens to a larger size 800 pixels wide.

LTBerry, I hear you bro. It is a funny name. Supposedly it's an old English word meaning "crouching." I think the mountain range looked like some crouching animal when it was named. The great and distinctive thing about the place is that I used to ski it in the mid to late '80s when it was joined with another area, forming Crotched East and Crotched West. It was quite a place, with two long connecting trails. It went out of business in 1989, but Crotched West (formerly Bobcat/Onset) was recently purchased by Peak Resorts, a company that owns small ski areas in the Mid West. Now Crotched is totally revamped with new lifts, a huge base lodge, great terrain park, great snowmaking, and night skiing until 3 AM on weekends. It's the first "lost" ski area to "come back" in such a big way in my lifetime, and I'm a fan of lost ski areas.

You did a good job using the panorama view Joshua. Gives a good vista of the mountain.

I like the view - it's very nicely done

Do they make artificial snow for the slopes because I can only see it on the "runs". Looks a nice place.

Yes, Crotched now makes a lot of snow. The owners spent a couple million dollars on brand new Polecat snowmaking machines. They're installed all over the hill. Thanks to everyone who commented about the pic!
