Default Waiting for the train

Antrim railway station as viewed from the bridge between platforms.

Last Tuesday was the hottest day of the year here so far, when the temperature rose to 24c. I'm sure it was a lot hotter elsewhere. lol

G'day mate

Looks a peaceful place - people waiting patiently & no doubt enjoying the sunshine

ps- and 24c is "nice" - the sort of temp we get most of the year, but summers can go to the low 40s, then we know what 'hot' is

I took your pic and gave it a bit more punch, lightened the shadow areas, particularly on the left and in the garage doorway on the right. Its easier than explaining. Hope you dont mind. It would have been nice to get more cars into the pic. In 20 or 50 years the same pic will look odd with strange looking cars. I think this would have looked incredible as an HDR.

@ Bynx Good edit thanks, as always all are welcome to modify, comment on, add suggestions or edit any of my photos..

I never thought of an HDR at the time but worth remembering for the next time.

@Ozzie_Traveller Thanks for commenting. Well I'm glad we never get the 40c at this latitude

As a model railroad operator myself, the perspective of this image looks like one is looking down on a model train display! Great image!

This is a really nice shot Musket. Good exposure at both ends. And I can see where you took the first shot from.
