Sunsets and sunrises are a favourite of mine, perhaps because somehow nature does it all for you, and the results are often surprising. Here are a few from the surrounding countryside of my hometown, Newcastle, SA

This nextwas taken just after the sun had set, lying down in the long grass with my back full of burrs and other natural things, and I felt I should try and get the grass in the foreground highlighted with a bit of flash [must experiment !!], with the mountain range, twighlight and moon and star in the background. It made an interesting shot

Thanx photosbyvito, i must say that I also really enjoy the rays of the sun shining thru clouds, sort of depicts "hope" to me [how's that for being philosophical ??]

Another sunray pic, albeit very simple

Great shots, I too love to play around with sunsets (sunrises are too early for me, unless it's the dead of winter).
