was at the beach earlier and found this "angle" the day wasn't as colorful. i think its because the sun dominated the scene. taken late afternoon.

SUPER SHOT! I really like it.

Only comments is that you should straigthen up the tilting horizon and build up the upper part of the picture (the palms are cut off). This shot deserves it!

You catched a good one there!!!!

thank you Klaus. i'm actually a member of your site. i just have to get around to visiting. which is probably after i post this.

i corrected the cut off section of the coconut leaves and made it a little sharper and straightened the horison.
in all honesty i don't feel this is a good picture. i think its just okay. i'll try harder.

thanks for the positive comments, Klaus and Jack. i appreciate it.

nice shots

i live in New Jersey....no palm trees here...so theres a possibility that you don't appreciate them as much as we do since you see them all the time....

i think the shot is beautiful....got gorgeous clouds....and the nice palm trees in the foreground, and then the middle ground with the people walking the beach

i've read somewhere....that a good landscape picture should have layers, foreground, background, and middle ground, which your picture has well done

Wonderful pair of photos

They evoke a sense of the "endless summer" in this forum member!

Berto there may be technical quibbles but overall I think the composition and esthetic effect is quite nice.

Palm trees swaying against a blue sky is tough to criticize.
