This picture was taken one night as i was returning from skiing at Grouse Mountain. Its near Vancouver and overlooks Georgia Strait

That makes me feel very cold. I like the way you've centred the cable cars. It balances the photograph.
What are those things on the left? Boats?

The things on the left are indeed ships, big freighter ships

Typical of many snow scenes, there's a blue cast to the shot. This can be fixed with post processing, but increasing your exposure would brighten the whites in the snow. Metering snow is tough.

Scary looking ride, btw

This is why Vahn-coo-vah is such a popular place

You can ski in the mountains in the am and windsurf on the sea in the pm...or vice versa!

Great photo!

If you can adjust the blue tint, this may be something you could sell to the Tourist Bureau (or whatever it is called) in Vancouver

Ah I love tramways. Their structure is so much more impressive than your average gondola or chairlift. Thanks for posting!
