I took this on the Leeds to Liverpool canalas they were tied up to get fresh water. There was this boat and a larger canal barge travelling together. They had been on the canal for over two weeks. :-)

The picture is good technically, good colors etc.. but there si something about the composition that doesn't quite take it into the next level. As Klaus used to say a creditable shot. I wish I could verbalize what the composition need. Remember this advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

Thanks selvin. I had been on the canal looking for barges and before i went home i noticed the water reflection on the boat. That's the only reason i took this picture. Thanks for the comment selvin. :-)

Thanks sid, I haven't seen too many boats so far this year. Considering this is Englands longest canal it's not very busy. :-)

discodudette, you're right it is dirty. People dump allsorts of rubbish in it but it gets drained at winter for cleaning and maintenance. They have found safe's, guns, shopping trolleys and even a telephone box in the canal before. Me and my mates used to swim in it when we were kids but we didn't have much sense then. :-)
