Very nice trio of pics, aladyforty.

The vertical orientation in your first shot really works!

I very much like the contemplative look to the second photo.

On the third, I am curious about the flat, mesa like hill in the background.
:-)

It is actually not flat, it's about 900 feet high, was two photos joined together. Hubby did this one, I think it is just the way the photo came out.

That was said so casually. I wish we had something like that here.

nice shots alady....but....these shots, to be made GREAT, would be to find out (by way of research of course) the time the light would be best, sunrise, sunset, depending on where your shore is facing.....you'd want the light coming over the water in the first in think, and the second would look nice like that....but a good orange/pink tint on the rock would be beautiful...

btw...i'm speaking in terms of keeping all aspects of the picture the same, EXCEPT for the light, which if you figure out the best time, you can have it perfect...i love the addition of the man standing on the rocks in the second one...adds a lot

oh...and the pano....that one looks pretty cool....but i'd like to see it bigger

thanks for reading this, hope it helps

Vito
