Nice photo. You could crop a bit in the left side. This way it will look like the boat is sailing through the photo. But it's a nice one - I like the stones in the foreground.

Nice shot, with good clarity (to me). I gotta ask, were you on the jetty, or had you zoooooommmed out to it? I like the rocks in the forground too.

The jetty is about 25 feet wide and I was right up against the off side. Notso much zooming as cropping and I agree with Klaus some off the left would be better. However thanks for the kind comments. The area where the boats go through is fairly narrow, which make for some good boat shots. This is Moss Landing, Ca.

Your photo conveys a wonderful sense of "escape"...of a vessel, "escaping" harbor for the open sea.
