I like no. 3 best. I love the contrast of the totally clear still water and the water motion effect elsewhere and the colors in the large still rock. My opinion.

#3 because I can picture that big old trout laying on the backside of that rock. Try a little drop shadow on your frame and these pictures will pop right off the page. Nice job

#3, its the only one where you have let your creative side show through. The others are nice but not noteworthy, anyone could have taken them. Number three is the picture in the picture, well seen and captured.

Vito, simple effective frame. Although I think they are too "thick", but that's a personal thing. Maybe drop the thickness a little ?

Cheers

Amazing!
I like number 3 the best because it's not just about the water. The rocks coming out the water are SHARP.

They are all beautys Vito. If you would like me to pick, it would be #2. I find myself trying to see what is around the bend.

And yes, IMO, magazine material or better.

I think the frames are a bit thick, but they give it that "Inspirational" poster feel. Do you guys know what I am talking about? The posters which feature a nice landscape photo with some sort of inpirational word or phrase below it.

thank you all! i'm glad you like them

thanks for your comments! i appreciate you posting which ones you liked best!

ryan, that's wat i was going for, i saw some of them in a gift shop in the smokies, and thought i'd try it....

i'll try some thinner, see how it works....i made it thicker to fit the font better, so you could read it better...

oh....i made it by resizing the picture, then making the canvas 100x150 pixels bigger (resizing the canvas "relatively")
then filling the background white, stroking the picture itself, then making the canvas 2 pixels bigger wide and tall, then type in "Photo By Vito Paratore" with the font "Scriptina" (there you go ) and then save it....

Vito,

Did you use any filters when taking these shots? The water looks pretty clear.

nope, i haven't gotten the money to buy any yet....i'm looking for a polarizer...and my b-day is coming up

so, no, i didn't use any filters, they were like this anyway, and most were in shadow, so no sky reflections....
