Shot during a wedding this past weekend in Montauk, NY. The sky looked so menacing, I had to get a shot of it. The original didn't do it justice, so I adjusted levels in PS and got a much better representation of what I really saw that day

That's what you really saw? Absolutely malevolent is the way I'd describe it. Very spectacular!

Did the wedding come off without a hitch?

Thanks guys, the weather was really sinister looking  Unfortunately there were minor complications during the day, missing flowers here, missing bride there, torrential rain everywhere  But there was a happy ending for the couple at the end of the night, and the rain dissipated by then.

I now pronounce you husband and wife!!! NOW RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!! What a stunning, scary sky! I find it interesting that the sky seems so turbulant, yet the water seems realatvley calm. I wonder what meteorologists call this?

marokero, I just gotta ask you because it is bothering me now that I noticed it...

If this picture was just shot this past weekend, was it just a mistake that the copyright notice on it says copyright 2003 by Alberto Tanikawa?

Yeah, I pasted that using a file I created last year. It should be corrected now

No problem. Those little nitpicky details just get under my skin and then I can't forget about them...

The top resolution and bottom resolution of this photo seems different. Upon closer inspection I believe the mistake was made because of the contrast differences between top and bottom.

My mistake
