now, you see wat i like about the third one too....can you put your finger on it?

i think it's the solidness of the light....no hotspots....nice color green background...maybe?

ok....the rock...on the fourth(?) one....

the one you wanted to crop the big rock out of....well...the big rock...is fake...

lol cloned from surrounding rocks....because the smaller rock there had a bright hotspot on it...

i guess it's good i fooled you....good cloning job? it'll look fake now though...

They are all quite nice but number 2 is my personal favorite. Definately looks like a table top book cover.

It's a very good job of cloning, and sure now I can see it, but only because I know it's there. One thing I do to help blend in the edges is use one of the brushes with soft edges. No one will know that you did that unless you tell them though. I find that I am a lot more critical of even my own pics since coming here the last 4/5 months and learning all that goes into making a good pic. One ex., I just looked though my sisters vac. pics and nearly got seasick with the back and forth slanting water lines. something that never bothered me before.

haha, very true.....that's why i can't judge if it looks real....because i KNOW it's fake...

lol, slants would drive me crazy too...
