this is a panorama i made with panorama factory from about 14 pictures or so...there was quite a bit of haze and mist for the camera.. no editing was done to this other than the pano stitch...

tell me what you think...

Redman, I think you did a very good job of stitching together all of those pictures as seams are not apparent when casually viewing. Good job!

The haziness does detract from this image but I think that if you bring this picture into your image editor you can negate the haziness to some degree. Try some unsharp mask (USM) using these settings:

Amount: try different amounts between 10 and 50
Radius: set to 60
Threshold: set to 0

It's not magic but sometime it does wonders in helping to increase your contrast and cut back on the haziness.

I agree with geoffs. It's very good. The only stitch I can see is where the boat is in the middle of the picture. It's got two ghosts. You should be able to clone them out though.
I agree with geoffs about the mist to, but somehow I doubt you'd ever get a clear day at that location.
Did you take special precautions with the water? I'm wondered if it's easy to stop a stitch from appearing on moving water or if it happens at all.

Good eye, ferny, in catching the ghosting of that boat. I completely missed that! Duh...

thanks for the feedback guys...

yeah, the boat was hard to control cause it was moving as i was moving the camera...

and nope, i didnt take any precautions really for the moving water, i was just there and decided to take a pano of the area...its done by hand, since i dont have a tripod...

and yeah, the haze was really bad, and in combination with the mist i knew the pics wouldnt be as sharp as they could be...

im gonna try and clean it up in photoshop, and i'll repost the results..
