Is the orginal size really 3,100 x 3,700 or is that a typo. One shot from my DR is about that size and if this is a 12 picture pano it should be much larger unless you cropped off a lot.

If I did a portrait shot 4 across and 3 down and take off 20% for overlay I get 6,554 x 7,373. In landscapeit would get 9,831 x 4,916

BTW, very nice shot.

nope...not a typo..but i overlapped them a lot...i wanted to make sure i got everything lol

this time i thought ahead, and shot the pano bigger than i intended to for composition, so that when it stitched, the odds and ends sticking out wouldn't ruin my composition...

Nicely done, Vito!

Can we see it in color?

Also, can you mail us each of us a 20" x 30" poster of it?

i would love to..

just mail me a check or money order for 20 bucks

i'll figure out the color version in a second...my camera's WB stuff is acting up...the water was literally blue...(not in "real" life...i mean in the original) so i'll have to fix that...

The slow shutter really makes it.
Isn't b&w great!
Thanks, Dick
