i like the first better..

"picture perfect" composition

i love the moss covered 'fence'

I like the first too with something I had not seen before...your moss covered fence.

What I like best about the first one is that the fence more naturally comes out of the left corner, where in the second photo, the fence is abruptly thrown in to the bottom center of the shot. It is warm and inviting, and while both urge the viewer to find where the road goes, I'm more inclined to take the first path.
