I had never expirenced a prairie sunset before so i was not ready for this shot. I had to take it as quickly as i could. This is why there is all the heavy equiptment in the foreground. I have cropped most of it out. No touch-ups to the colour. Also taken with my C-5050 on full auto.

I've heard people say that they never knew the sky could be so huge...

Nice shot; I'd crop those small branches on the left.

Regards,

Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada

Nice shot Disco Dave. Love the colours. Looks cold. My uncle lives in Outlook, and I'm always giving him a hard time about the snow. Looks like it's arrived early. You could clone out the extras in the picture fairly easily. Good luck.........thekman

I am not quite the PS pro yet and a little heavy handed wit the clone tool...the colour is what made me jump and grab the camera...It was a cold christmas evening just a day from one huge showstorm that hit Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northwestern Ontario(where I live). A 8 hour drive home turned into 14 hours, a hellish trip home.
