Wonderful colors and reflections in that rock. What creates that blue? It looks almost oily. Really nice capture. Good job.

Thanks for the positive comments. I appreciate it.

The rock is just wet, and it is just straight out of the camera - not photoshopped at all.

Thanks again,

Beverly

p.s. The leaf wasn't even placed there - it was just nature.

Hi
I think this is a great shot. At first I thought the white balance was off and wanted to see it warmer looking, however seeing this was it as you experienced it you are probably best to leave it as is.

Regards

Martin.

The cool blue lets you feel the cool, fall weather...that water is probably VERY cold right now. It captures a mood. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Wisconsin Girl,

The water is quite cold right now. This is a creek where the salmon come from the ocean to go up and spawn at the end of their life cycle. I live only a couple hundred feet from the Pacific Ocean.

I'm glad to hear this. I know of some guys who go through incredibly (needlessly) elaborate setups to re-create what nature provides right out of the box.

Great shot... and, by the way, just the right tone.
