Please see thisin itself not too attractive picture of the city of Delft. What makes the picture interesting is the zooming you can do.Find strange and other nice details and look towards the city of The Hague. The original image is 2.5 gigapixel.

I was able to read licence numbers with the zoom available! Details were captured that aren't (easily) visible in the unzoomed image.

2.5GP in size?! That's BIG:!: Amazing:shock:

Must take up a lot of webspace. I don't think this photo will be easy on dialup connections, so those with that type of connection will have to execise a lot of patience, or not view it.

Btw, what's with all the tower cranes?

The "mistakes" in stitching are not mistakes but kind of teleportations because it took more than an hour to shoot all the seperate shots. See: http://www.tpd.tno.nl/smartsite593.html

Ya I saw that too but since the photographer could not have told everyone to hold still for the hour it took to take all the images this is unavoidable. I saw that guy too but the one I like the most is the car-bus

Maarten,

Thank you for a fascinating tour of your city.... and don't worry about the car-bus, people drive like that here all the time.

ahh! great stuff

instead of having everyone stay still..they could just pick one image or the other to finish the bus, or finish the car...instead of having both..
