Had a pretty bad ice storm here in Kansas right after the new year. Got out and gave my 20D some exercise, it did a lot better than I can. We were out of electricity for several days, but the ice was beautiful.

Was a chilly day PeterP. It looks like these photos are too large [ 1st time for me] did it take a long time for them to open? Probably should have made the files smaller. Any thoughts anyone?

Nice series, golfer.

Relatives in KS lost a lot of limbs from trees and three days w/o power but no lasting damage.

Hope all is well for you in KS now.

Wow!! Great job. My favorite is the old fence. Beautifully framed.

680 X 453 tends to work great when you resize for this forum.

Glad you have your power again! We are hoping to get above zero tomorrow up here!!

Digicamfan hope your relatives were not without electricity. We fared pretty well as we have a wood stove inour basement. Kinda like going back in time80 years, used a kerosene lamp and went to bed early. LOL

Wisconsongirl thanks for the help. You actually gave me a few tips on how to photograph the ice before we lost power. Thanks for your help. Thanks also for the tips on photo size.

This is a wonderfulweb site, with so much usefyl information.
