Was below zero degrees fh today, but the sun was out with blue skies so i thought id see if i could get a few quick shots.Ithas been along time sense ive seen sun and blue skies, was a nice change.

comments/critique welcome

The b&w shot is much better! I did not even know that was a river until I seen the black & white image. I really like that one!

Wow both great shots. I actually prefer the color shot. I really like the color contrast the red plant in the front right gives off.

I like the atmosphere of the picture - winter, sun, coldness, trees. The color one is much, much better than B and W.



btw - I like BandW photos when there is a snowy landscape and when the sun is shining in front of the photographer. than you can see the sunny rays. that is so beautiful.

Man, that looks cold. Usually I like to see some light streaking into a photo, but in this case it seems to be working against you. A pretty setting, did you use a poloaizer?

Love the mist lifting off the water.
