Nah, this was strictly legal. It took me about two hours to get to work on Tuesday... pulling over, backing up, taking side-streets. It's a good thing that traffic was light; (I don't think I annoyed anyone. :-)

Thanks for the comments, Peter.

P.S. Your Avatar... Is that on the Ottawa River? Looks like a scene from my childhood.

That image was taken at Bon-Echo provincial park, our little group(6 of us) on our first outing innew boats. Someone was really brave and brought a little Canon Powershot out with them. Now we know better and carry cameras in dry-bags :blah:

Here is a shot of theboats all lined up from ourLake Superior excursion. http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=62

Always love your posts, Tom! You crack me up...pulling over...taking shots...going a little further. Do you ever get honks? I swear some people think I'm on drugs or something some days, or they'll look and look, trying to figure out if there is a spaceship that would cause me to pull over for a silly picture. It becomes an obsession, but what a great obsession.

Thanks for showing us what it is like up there! We are thawing out down in Wisconsin now...at least for today anyway.

Ice crystals in the morning are definitely one of the most photogenic aspects of winter. You did a great job of capturing them roadside with that shot.

Thanks for checkin' out my icy shots earlier.
