Very nice! You have some great scenery to photograph! I don't know about you, but I am ready to take some photos of green grass and budding flowers.

Thanks much. I was fortunate to be there at just the right time.

If you look closely, remnants of ice are still floating in the body of water.

LOve 2 and 3, really nice to see some sunshine. Nice job framing the stream and picking up some sky.
Number one for mee seems to have a little too much sky. Great color.
Can you share your settings?

I like the big sky of the first and the close feel of the second. The Mississippi River is now flowing freely with no ice cover between La Crosse, WI and La Crescent, MN. There is ice on the sides and on the sloughs but not on the main drag.

Farther nother, the Mississippi ices up around Red Wing if I remember correctly, but it is open in the Cities though.



Number 3 is my favorite. I like the way the trees lean in to the center of the river.
