I was driving to work today after a thick, wet snowfall, and noticed this barn that had recently been resided sticking out from the snow. It didn't look real at all. After looking at my pix, I noticed a sticker in one of the windows on the barn...they must have redone the whole top.

Anyway, here's to winter in Wisconsin...

:-)

Another view...

In the next images, I took out the sticker on the window and did a tiny levels adjustment...

i think the first one is my favorite... having more of the winter background in the frame makes the contrast with the bright red barn all the more noticeable. great shot!

I just love the middle one. Given half a chance I would move in tomorrow!

I like the first one as well. You should try putting it in PS and adjust the levels a bit to make the snow whiter, then select just the red and adjust the sat on it to make it stick out more. Then you can even try it with the rest of the image BW or Sepia. Just a thought.

I like the last two

The barn is nicely nestled into your photo!

Can you say..."xc ski b&b"?

:-):-)

It is great when you find something like this and actually have a camera with you.(and use it).

My favorite is the third. I like seeing that face of the barn. The snow covered tree covers up the distracting silo.
