Hello everyone,

this picture was taken from alacatraz facing the San Francisco skyline. I liked the contrast between the island and the cityscape. I edited the picture in PS to bring out some color. comments welcome. thanks

Nice view, there are some birds ion the view..would've been great if you could take another closer shot with the birds more obvious .. would love to take the same shot at night too, greedy me .. well done mate

I love the pano. However, I would have emphasized the pano aspect of the image. I hope you don't mind, but I did a quick PS crop and got this:

Thanks for the comments everyone. By the way Jeff, the shot wasn't really a panorama if that's what you meant. I do like your crop though. I wish I could go back and take a couple more pics :-).

Jeff's crop cut out the clutter and made the shot much more appealing (to me, anyway)

The clutter was there as a sort of contrast between the island and the SF skyline.. It was intentional :-)
