I saw this dead burnt tree next to a pile of electrical pylons a few days ago, and I thought :- There has to be a picture in there somewhere, then, having seen some B&W's here on Steve's [from Peripatetic and Co.], I thought I would give it a bash. Please comment, negative or positive, as I don't have any idea yet as to what one should look for inB&W

{justby the way, on the 20D, there is a B&W setting, which I used, but when I loaded up the images on my PC, they were in colour [?] and it took me quite a while to realise thatRAW is just that: RAW. The camera records what it sees, NO PROCESSING at all. Had me confused for a bit, even took more test pics at home until the light turned on!!}

Great shots. The second one is just spectacular. I think B+W gives it a classic feel. I really likehow the linesseem to converge. Just one thing- I think the horizon isn't level. Try to do a perspective crop in PS to make the horizon more levell. But maybe that's just my untrained eye.

Excellentshot

Tells a story, makes a comment, makes you think about a bunch of different things. Nice one boet. :-)
