My immediate reactions:

#2 is a miss, that structure looks interesting but you're too far away and the rest is a bit cluttered.

#4 is a brilliant natural frame but is missing something interesting as a focal point.

#1 is almost there, I wonder if tilting the camera up just a little would have been better - you'd get the whole tree and a little less of the water. Not sure about this one.

#3,6 are very nice - definite keepers.

But #5 WOW - fantastic shot, beautifully composed. Absolutely demands a large print!

Digcamfan, as peri says, No. 5 is VERY GOOD and needs further attention [if I was that good looking I would want better attention like being hung on a wall somewhere]

Thank you, Jake, CannaW and Peripatetic for your kind words, especially you peripatetic for a superb review of this series.

You all might be interested to know that the day I took these pics, I also met a young couple with a lil boy who do not have email.

I sent them photos I took of them via US Mail (8 x 10) and put them on CD. My mailing "label" was number 5.

You kind words inspire me :-)

Hi Digcamfan,

I like that Bridge that's in pic 2. As a kid i loved these old bridges and hated seeing them fade away. we used to have literally dozens of them around here, and now i can't find 1. Ah, well i guess that's progress, another fading piece of Americana.

Regards
