Hi All,

This is one of the sunset shots I took last week with my Canon Digital Rebel. Please have a look and let me know if the composition is OK I'd much appreciate it. Personally, I'm afraid that it is a bit cluttered.

Thanks and regards,

Quan

Quan,

Very nice and very tranquil picture. Makes me just want to start a fire and watch the sun drop below the horizon.

Quan,

I played with your photo again. I adjusted the sky to be different. I just wanted to show you what else you could do with Photoshop Elements.

I softened the sunset since it looked a little grainy to me.

Bill

This is a great picture. I don't get nice sunsets like this to photo.

Hi Bill,

Your Photoshop is excellent. I wish I could be able to know some basics to enhance digiphotos. Well, the last one looks nice and impressive sky.

Thanks and regards,

Quan

Hey Quan,

I have a tendency to enhance my colors too much. I guess I will eventually learn that less is more but I have not yet. After looking at the photos I think I like your original better than the two I played with. Keep up the nice work.

I also prefer the originals. The sun is what immediately catches your eye in this photo, Bills are sharpened too much and seem unatural.

I think this is a really nice photo but also agree with your original thought Quan that there's a bit too much happening. I think this would have looked super without the large ship (first preference) or without the poles (2nd preference). These elements are both strong on their own but distract from each other.
