I tried the desaturation, increase contrast, and sharpening mask to get this pic to this point. Hope you enjoy.

Just a note. A young Japanese couple died on El Capitan this past fall when a front moved in and they were still in the middle of their climb. They made it about 300 feet from the top of this 3000 foot climb before surcumbing to hypothermia. As I scanned the Captain this past weekend there was a complete set of ropes and gear still left unattended on the face of the mountain. I can only guess it was left by those that no longer needed it for they had continued to ascend unaided by mans tools. I wish them well.
