Bob,

That is very nice work! I think the composition is excellent. I can't decide if it is my monitor, or what. But I seem to be seeing a hint of color in the foreground water. I have a new LCD monitor, and I'm still trying to get used to it.

Speaking of black and white, here is one that I did a year or so ago. I think I like it, but I'm not really sure. I haven't shown it before. Just looking for some feedback.

I don'treally know definitively, but here's a shot at it. Playing with levels, I managed to make the sun's rays (halo? the effect on the immediately surrounding sky, anyway) a bit more obvious. Then I injected a tiny (fake) lens flare on the theory that we're used to the photographic convention of the sun causing optical effets on lenses. Since the moon doesn't cause this much flare, maybe this seems more sun-like...?
