Drove through some rain storms on Friday afternoon and had some tremendous rainbows. Unfortunately I wasn't the driver so I had to pick the best shot from a car moving at 70mph.

Very nice! That's one of the best rainbow shots I've seen in a long time. Even though you had to shoot from a speeding car, it still looks great.

I think that's the tallest rainbow I have ever seen! Can you do the same during twister season??

Thanks both of you. I'll definitely be keeping my eye open for thunderstorms over the next few months - mostly for capturing lightning strikes. Rainbows are a tough thing - there was a great one a week or two ago but in the time it took me to go back into the house and grab my camera it was gone

Fortunately for this pic I was in the middle of flat farm land which made for a great capture of the arc - with the added bonus of a farm way-way in the distance for some scale.
