I took these on June 1st which is the first day of winter here, this is some of the landscape I travel through on my courier run. The area here is called Borden. The temperature was 26C and the late afternoon gave off an interesting light.

Very nice shots Julie............................But you're taking the p*ss now aren't you ?

26C coming in to winter !!!! We're lucky to get that at the height of our summer . Today, 3rd June and we had about 16C and heavy showers .

Still, I don't fancy Christmas in temperatures of 35C plus :whack:.

This must be one of the perks of your business, having the opportunity to shoot all of that wonderful scenery.

More please 8).

Steve.

Im gonna really annoy you and tell you that where I live is classed as one of the coolest places in the state and at Christmas our temp is about usually around 26c, people drive down from the city to escape the heat. We do get the really hot weather in February though but it never lasts for more than a couple of days at a time. Where i drive which is inland into the wheat belt is a different matter, it gets up in the 40s in summer where i drive.

Beautiful scenery, wide open spaces, peacefulness and solitude for miles and miles, sunshine all year round, even in winter . St. Valentines day in your shorts, the Great Barrier Reef (alright, that's the other side), the mysterious red glow of Uluru, Kylie Minogue, that giant dartboard in your second pic and much, much more..............How is any of that gonna really annoy me ???? .

I really wouldn't like 40C plus though.

Snow can appear in the most unlikely of places. Have a look at Selvin's photo in this thread.17th post in.http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=86

Snow in Hawaii !!!! Never seen Danno booking anyone on top of those mountains :-).

And we all love Kylie, some of us for different reasons .
