Thanks for the responses, glad you like the pic.

No the Seven Devilsare by Riggins in the middle of the state.

The Sawtooths are about 2 hours NE of Boise.

Bootyful(beautiful). I've only met a few of the Seven Devils, but they seem very nice. I really like the area around Hell's Canyon. I alway take a ride up to Bear, so I can drive down the Kleinschmidt Grade. Some day I'm gonna meet a logging truck, or my maker over there. I've got 2 weeks off soon maybeI should go over there!

gorgeous, Zoomn. i gotta say, though, i think Redfish itself is just as lovely, if you get away from the resort. from some spots along the shore, the way it's nestled in between the peaks, it looks almost like Lake Louise in Alberta, which is reknowned for its beauty. i have only some old film shots taken there back in the mid '90's, no digital images (not yet, anyway... it's definitely on my list of destinations to photograph!), but i think it's some of the prettiest scenery anywhere.

there's a stretch of highway near Redfish, where you drive past split-rail fences and high-desert farmland, with the Sawtooths in the background... closest thing to the Tetons in Wyoming i've seen yet. absolutely stunning, especially in early summer when there's still snow in them thar hills... some spectacular views from Galena Pass as well...

anyway, Zoomn, very nice shots! you're fortunate to live within a reasonable drive 3 hrs or so of places like Redfish...
