Finally got a day off to go shoot some photos today. Found this spot and thought it looked good for the sunrise, so set up and started shooting. These 3 are just before the sun made its way, then peaking over the mountain, and finally all the way up. There was no cloud again. We haven't had any here now for maybe 3 weeks, but there was some ground mist. Cheers......thekman.

The first two are great - the third is truly stunning.

Awesome work! I'd definitely consider framing that third one.

Hey Bob. Thanks mate. From a fellow sunset -rise fan, it's much appreciated. Still working with this new camera. It's quite a change, and the metering I find is not always what the camera states it is when shooting in manual (which I do a lot). Seems to underexpose quite a bit sometimes, even though thereadout says it's correct. Will have to continue experimenting. Cheers......thekman.

Wow! Those are fantastic !

I think I like the third one with the mist the best, but you should be extemely pleased with all of those.

Very nice work, John.
