A few frozen fingers and toes...a small price to pay for winter photography. Shot in various locations around the Niagara region last winter.

Also shot along Lake Erie - the day was surprisingly warm, despite the appearances in the pics, and I was able to spend a few hours out on the ice setting up the shots I wanted.

I'm getting cold looking at these. Nice shots. Looks like the Arctic (or Antarctic), in the last 2. I guess you're looking forward to winter now? I'm a West Coast wimp. The only time I see conditions like these are in calendars and Steves Landscape Photos page. Lol. Nice work. The detail is very good. Tough to get the right exposure for this type of shot........cheers.......thekman.

Photography is the only aspect I look forward to in winter, heh. Given a choice, I'd be a west coast wimp, too.

I sometimes bracket on exposures if I really like the overall frame composition - although much of the time I just wing it and hope for the best.

Thanks for the compliments. After seeing those fab sunrise shots of yours earlier...I much appreciate your input.
