Well I was out enjoying the lovely sunshine, when I came up to a viewpoint, and nearly got blown off my feet by the wind blowing up. Not long after I took these the rain arrived as well. Thankfully I took this scene twice, as the first one was all camera shake from the squall that was blowing up!

Both of these shots are quite beautiful John. I think the light on the panaromic one was just fine. Lots of detail etc. Good job! Cheers.......thekman.

The lighting on the fields is interesting, it goes from bright in the foreground to dark in the distance. The dark clouds must not have been directly overhead when you shot that.

Nice panorama. The sky looks excellent.

No, I was in clear blue sky, and I had no idea that lot was on the way until I came to a farm gate and could see the view to the west. Half an hour later it was all back to clear blue skies again, whew.

BTW, SK, what have you done to your avatar? I mean it is interesting, no two ways about that, but it scares the c**p out of me:O I do hope that's not how you see yourself, I'm not going anywhere near Ontario if it is :!: :G No offense meant, BTW,

John.

Hey! Not all of us in Ontario look like that!! Perhaps SK has been visitning the Darlington Nuclear Power Plant too often. Mind you, drinking the water from lake Erie will also have adverse effects:shock:

Hehe...

Its just a wax figure I shot outside one of those cheesy tourist attractions in downtown Niagara Falls a few summers back.

Just toss'd it up for the shock value, lol.

I avoid the nuke plants and only stick to exploring the old coal fire facilities these days

Actually, Lakeview hydro plant in TO was recently mothballed, and I hear its a photo op for stealthy shutterbugs who are into shooting places like that.
