Another beautiful shot, Jim. This shot brings back many memories. When I was a kid , a long, long time ago, we would swim in the Merced River and use the sand bars as our home base.

what a difference a litttle snow can make of images at Yosemite. what month of the year was this shot?

Wish I recalled! APril, I think.
But check out my saturated version in a separate thread--it's photo processing software that really makes the difference.
