Shot thru the windows of a moving catamaran. Anyone have any ideas of how to make the rainbow show up more brightly? I have PSP, but I know how to do little in it other than cropping and re-sizing.

Thanks,

Here's the best I could do: the original is a little over-exposed, so there wasn't a complete rainbow to rescue unfortunately.

The adjustments were to adjust levels (the black point needed moving to the right, and I've moved the midtones as well to give it a little more "body"). I'm not sure how you do that in PSP, but I'm sure there is a levels command in there. I've also boosted the saturation, again you'll have to mess about with the PSP menus to find the right option for that, but it'll be there somewhere.

Hope this helps,

John.

Actually looking again at that, I see that the boost to the saturation has introduced a lot of noise, probably wasn't such a good idea after all

You should be able to do better with some work on the levels in the original though.

John.

Thank you for trying to "fix" it. Since I have the original on the memory card, I will try playing with it in PSP and see what comes of it.
