Another colorless one :-)

This disused mill race really work at all in colour, but I quite like it in black and white, this is another one that's just slightly tinted again.

Both are nice, but I prefer the vertical framing. The additional depth of field is effective. The horizontal one looks a little too flat to me (but that may just be a quirk of mine!).

Thanks for the comments.

I see where you're coming from with the extra "depth" to the vertical one. It's a compromise really between getting a better perspective, and avoiding too much jumble in the background. Maybe I just need to find something in a better location, unfortunately it doesn't take long for the foliage to take over completely around here !
