My personal bias is to have a zoomed in more to the manor house. But when I was in england years ago, I spent the trip hopping between manor houses and castles....


I like the use of the water in the foreground. Depending on what is to the right of the picture, I might have framed it slightly more to the right. I don't think the trees on the left add anything other than a little more forground and some perspective as to the side of the building (of course, the people do that too.)

I was in South Wales for several days back then, pitty I didn't get to this place.

Very attractive photo.

Do us a favour, compress your photos a bit more and resize to 800x600 for us poor buggers on 56K dial-up.

Where in South Wales is this, As a National Trust member I love visiting these places. Next time I'm around there perhaps I'll call in.

Is it National Trust or Private?

Your picture's better than any they use. It much more illustrative - shows more of the building, you should send it to them, who knows they might use it.
