Hi,

I have never posted any real images (other than of the camera kit) using my month old Canon S2 so I thought it time I did.
This was a somewhat surprising sight from my home office window this evening as these evening skies are few and far between in Scotland at this time of year.
I have done no PP except resizing. I love the S2 and am starting to get to grips with it although i'm still having stability and focus problems at full zoom but I suspect that's entirely down to my movement. But that's nothing to do with this pic.

If you care to, you can see a few more in my new photoblog at my new site which i might add has only 2 pages (which in themselves aren't finished) so far so follow the photoblog image links. Please remember that I am new to this camera as well as being a very inexperienced beginner.

cheers ...........

You've got a good eye. Look forward to more pix from your side of the pond.

Something almost foreboding about the sky, as if it is about to engulf you. Good capture.

I'm with the others, a really impressive sky, looks like it's on fire or something!

The tall evergreen, and the lighting along the treeline change this from a "Great shot" to "WOW!."

Really nice work.

thanks for your kind remarks folks, sorry i've been so long in replying. I'm trying to add a pic to my photoblog everyday. Pics of anything and everything I come across and through that hoping to become better all round.
Hope that you guys continue to visit and please rate the images by clicking on the rating stars and also feel free to leave comments.
I in turn will also put a lot more directly into the forum as well. The weather is starting to turn so i'm hoping to get some more seasonal images as we move through to christmas.

thanks again..

dave
