There is an inordinate number of trains in this part of the country. Most times when I go out for a landscape shoot, I inadvertently get a train in the frame, and often don't realize it 'til I get home. The same way pets always seem to poke their heads into pictures. Anyways, there's a train at the bottom of the mountain....eeny, teeny, weeny!

I love this kind of light, beautiful scene! One thing that really strikes me when I see photos from your area is the vast open space, I can only guess that the train is 2 or 3 miles away. We don't have that here in the flat corn belt.

Thanks for the comments guys. No thekman I didn't have to climb, thankfully...I drove up about 3/4 of the way and climbed the rest. This is actually Kamloops Lake. A favourite spot of mine...mostly cause it's close and I'm a lazy lazy man ;-)
Cheers.

Very nice, had too look really hard to find the train though

I wonder, have you considered taking this view as a panorama? Just wondered.

Nice one,

John.
