I'm not a expert, but I like this. Good Job.

the colors are great bob..

but i have preferred some of your other compositions over this one.. the horizon is quite centered and this centered nature is emphasized by the dark reflection and trees on the left hand side of the frame.. i am also not real happy with where the shoreline in the foreground starts.. i think it either needs to extend further or be gone completely..

thanks for sharing my friend,

i have a quick question..

how much do are we supposed to "critique" in this forum... i know i can critique bob, since i know that he knows i am only being helpful and knows that i love his work, but in general am i supposed to critique or is it more to share?

sorry, i am always in critiques and techniques and my instinct is to try to give some constructive criticism.. don't want to put ppl off here if its not kosher..

I like the transition from the warm to the cool colors in the sky as the sun diffuses through the clouds. Has this been darkened at all after the shot? as I seem to have trouble finding this kind of effect in any of the sunsets I've had the good fortune to observe. Maybe I just don't live in the right part of the country!

Anyway, Dustin, you have my permission to critique my shots in any forum. I have a rather thick skin after being the second youngest in a family of nine children.

Thanks John and Tbay, I appreciate your time and comments! Dustin, I can only speak for myself and say that I am always open to suggestions to improve my skills! Tbay, I did a tone curve adjustment with Corel photo paint to darken the shadows, and I bumped the highlights up just a tad. The colors are pretty much how they came out of my Olympus 740.
