Do you prefer the first version, on the rocks (so to speak)?

Probably straight up (#2). I'm more used to seeing the rocks in the foreground, and I'm not convinced by having them at the top. Interesting though, and worth trying.

The good thing about viewing this on a laptop is that it is easier to turn the computer

upside down than to stand on my head.. Just kidding:-)

I like #2 best also
