We call this bird "Corre-limo", (I don´t know if my translation is good). He is always running. I had to wait for a while until I got the background I wanted.

i have no idea what the bird is... perhaps a snipe, or one of the other beach birds. we have the same kind here on the western coast of the US, but we don't have those nifty castles to use as a backdrop! nice composition!

Yes, very nice composition! Have you blurred the background in Photoshop - it seems you have a very dramatic drop off in DOF.

No PS work at all, I have to use my 300 mm lens (450mm film lens). The DOF at that distance is very narrow.

the dof looks nice here.. i would crop a bit off the bottom though as i prefer my blur behind my subjects and not in front and behind.. but thats just personal preference..

looks good!

I love the depth of feild. Really points out what the subject is in the photo. Hey you are a REALLY GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER. You should get a website to show off your work.
