It was very cold here a couple night ago, and hoar frost formed on everything. Thought it made for some interesting pics. All taken with the Nikon D50 and Tamron 24-135 SD. I used a C.P. on the frosty maples trees along the country road.

Good morning Mark! It's amazing how beautiful hoar frost makes cold winter morning look! I really like the composition of the last photo, I can see you comming back to that spot for more.

Thanks for the comments! We probably won't see that kind of frost around here again this year. It's somewhat rare, and seems to only happen early in the winter season on nights down around zero F (-18 C).

I hope we never get that kind of frost here. It takes too long to scrape the car windows now! Good and unusual photos.
