The yellowish cast is from the setting sun.

not sure i'd pay much for that view, but i do like the lighting of this shot... low-angle sunlight like this always seems to make for good photos.

You can't really see much of the view from this angle, but the next shot (BX Vista) was taken with this shack just to the left of the frame.

I love the lighting and I like the texture of the shack but I think I would have liked to see a little less of the shack and more of the view.

You're right, I should have framed the shot more to the left and not included the dark back part of the shack. I cropped too muchfrom one side of this pic, and not enough from theother. It's not too likely those lighting conditions will repeat themselves anytime soon, so here's attempt #2, from the original.Thanks for your input.:G
