VP,

Nice job. I am amazed at the clarity of the second shot. I struggle with moon shots. They are generally over exposed or blurry.

that second one is very nice - in fact, it's marvelous, considering it was hand-held. OIS or not, moon shots are tough without at least a monopod. did you use a converter on your FZ20?

squirl......Thanks for the very nice comment!

I used the DCR-1540 PRO(1.54x) converter for the moon shot. AlthoughI have taken some pretty decent shots while using it, I tend to think the TCON that you use might do abetter job. Just never did buy one to test the theory. I have also used the ERGO RESTto help with some moon shots.......I was too lazy to put it on last night:-)

Beautiful shots, VP. Have you posted the moon shot in the Panasonic forum a while ago by any chance? I like the colors of the first. The clarity and details of the moon are simply amazing.

Tullio

Did not post these photos there. I think I may have posted this one some time ago. A little different focus on the moon. Thanks for the comments!

Nice job. Did you use a bit of fill flash in the first shot? It's difficult to capture tone in foreground details when shooting the moon.

Cheers,
