hello , just a newbie here on the forum my name is arend-jan but frends call me AJ

I am dutch but living in derry northernireland ( married a derry girl so i,am stuck here)

So i started about a year ago when my wife bought me a fuji finepix camera , now i ,am shooting with the nikon D70,s

so this is my first post here , Ohh forgive me my english is BAD

Tips and advise are welcome

I love that first shot! I'm trying to decide if that is mist or water...or a combination of the two.

Hi, Arend. I agree with Justin about the mistery waters. I hope you enlighten us about this issue.
It seems you're stuck in the right place to improve your artistic skills, especially in photography. They say, the one who does not intend to escape, gets caught easily!
I see you are well armed with a D70! Can't go wrong with that. Looking forward to your next shots from this fascinating corner of the world.

Thxxx guys

very pleased with the comments , a real moral boost

as farthe pictures itwas not foggy just used a long shutterspeed 22 and 30 sec and small apture F22 to create a creamy water surface i tried anyway :|

what lens did you use? i love the shots, as said before, very calm and tranquil feeling. very soothing
