Great series, John.

You have indeed found your Piece of Quiet .

One can almost hear the sound of waves and feel the fresh salt spray in one's face.

As we've come to expect from you John, stunning photies

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"No 5 is the one for me, personally - great, great shot. The way the rain's going here I might just be able to get some wave shots like that:G

Thanks everyone for looking in and commenting - it means alot coming from all of you.

Digicamfan - Isaw your website awhile ago and I aspire to take photos like that one day. For all those interested in landscape photography check out www.mountainlight.com.

Steve - Had no idea its been raining in Joburg, but its been freezing here in EL, so I guess the cold fronts bring you guys rain.

John - Thank you, its an amazing stretch of coastline, only about 2 kms long, but full of opportunities. All the shots I posted were taken in one morning. I went there again the other day and got totally different shots, its an amazing spot.

Very nice series. #2 and #6 are definitely the best onesIMO. I guess because the colors look more natural!

Thanks Tulio, it was quite a tough one to get right - the rising sun was shining directly on the rocks, that were already a redish colour, making them almost seem on fire. I realize some of the colours look a bit strongthough.
