Hello all , novice guy here who should be shooting more but i,m a bit ill at the moment !

But looking forward to taking more photos when i,m back to health !

I justwonderedif you would like to see my shot of a muchphotographed landmark close to where i live ?

Very nice. But I feel that with some 1/7 crop off from the top and a little from the righ handside, it would seem even superior.

good pic, but nothing to show its huge size !!...........for fellow members outside the UK this is a huge statue, and a very impressive site

Hi, Mark. This is really an outstanding sculpture in monumental scale and you've given an impressive silhouette look to it.
I have a feeling that you also liked your own crop:-)
Now the the body of the figure is more decentralized while retaining its significance (for the sake of the 'holy' rule of the thirds, for which we guys here fought for.
Paul(pj1974), for example,is a perfect person to apply in this issue :G )
IMHO,there's still room to be clipped off from the right..
Well, about me, the location name which you see below my pic. is still valid: İzmir.
Just make sure I could hear about your next visit around here

This monument looks massive. It would be nice to have something next to it to give us an idea of its size. Nice capture.
