Took this at the end of our walk tonight. Spring is finally here.

I like this shot for the fact that there are interesting bits splashed here and there. Even the reeds in the water at the front left edge make this picture work. Nice.. and I bet the walk was nice to. : )

What a gorgeous picture, Bob. By the still of the water, one can tell how calm and tranquil the evening was. great colors too!

You've captured a very beautiful, very tranquil view indeed, Bob. I just intended a slight and quick make-up(could have massed up maybe:G). Well, not because it needed to, but I really loved it. Hope you don't mind..

That's a really beautiful scene with great colours, Bob. Although I'm not sold on the reeds at the bottom - I find them a bit distracting from the otherwise perfect symmetry of the rest of the photo.

Cheers,
Ollie :-)

Thanks Ollie.
I did debate leaving the reeds out. I saw a photo with some reeds in the foreground of a sun setting over a calm lake and was trying to recreate that shot, maybe if there were more reeds and they went across the entire bottom of the photo it would look better.

Hi kman!
Thanks for checking out my photo, hope all is well out on the west coast!

Thanks John!
There was just a hint of a breeze causing a ripple or two. We do get a calm day or two every now and then.

Can't say more than has been said. It is a lovely sunset shot indeed. However, just an opinion, thought there too much foreground. Hope you don't mind the crop. Regards. Jaki.
